01 · Pick your room

Home theater, media room or whole-home music?

Most people want one of three things. Knowing which one shapes the room, the equipment and the budget.

🎬

Dedicated home theater

A room built for movies: controlled light, a large screen or projector, surround and ceiling speakers, and seating placed for the sound.

🛋️

Media room or great room

A living space that also does movie night: a big TV, speakers that disappear into the walls or ceiling and lighting that sets itself.

🎵

Whole-home and outdoor audio

Music in the kitchen, the primary suite and out by the pool, each room on its own or all together.

02 · Designed for your room

Speakers go where your ears are

Sound is about the room and the seats, not just the equipment. Here’s a typical media room layout with surround and ceiling speakers.

03 · Music everywhere

Whole-home and outdoor sound

Whole-home audio puts music in the rooms you choose, controlled from one app or a keypad on the wall. Play the same playlist everywhere for a party, or something different in each room.

In-ceiling and in-wall speakers that blend into the design

Outdoor speakers for the lanai, pool and garden, chosen for Florida weather

Streaming services you already use, on one app

Volume and source control from keypads in each room

Doorbell chimes and announcements through the speakers, if you want them

Hosting this season?

Music on the lanai, the right game on every TV and lighting that sets the mood with one button. Let’s plan it.

04 · One remote

Simple enough for guests

The best system is one anyone in the house can use. We tie the TVs, sound, lights and shades together, usually with Control4, so one button starts movie night and one turns it all off.

🎛️

One remote per room

Press “Watch TV” and the right TV, input and sound come on. No hunting for the right remote.

📱

One app for the house

Music, TVs and volume in every room from your phone.

Sun, salt air and summer storms

Southwest Florida homes ask a little more of audio and video equipment. We plan for it from the start.

Home theater and audio FAQ

What’s the difference between a home theater and a media room?

A home theater is a dedicated room built for movies, with controlled light, a large screen and seating placed for the sound. A media room is a living space that also works well for movies and games, usually with a large TV and speakers built into the walls or ceiling.

Do you install whole-home audio?

Yes. We install in-ceiling, in-wall and outdoor speakers so you can play music in the rooms you choose, together or separately, controlled from an app or keypads.

Can the speakers be hidden?

Usually. In-wall and in-ceiling speakers can be painted to match, and equipment can live in a closet or rack instead of under the TV. We’ll tell you where hiding something would cost you sound quality.

Will outdoor speakers survive Florida weather?

We use speakers designed for outdoor use and place them to limit direct sun and water exposure. Heat, humidity and salt air are part of the plan, not an afterthought.

Can you mount a TV over the fireplace?

We can, but it isn’t always the best seat in the house. We’ll talk through viewing height, heat and glare, and options like a lower mount position or a different wall, before anything is drilled.

Do you tune the system after installing it?

Yes. We set speaker levels and distances for your seating and adjust the room so dialogue is clear and the bass is even, then fine-tune after you’ve lived with it.

Can one remote control everything?

Yes. We tie the TV, sound, lights and shades together, usually with Control4, so a single button starts movie night and another turns everything off.

How much does a home theater cost?

It depends on the room, the screen, the number of speakers and how much construction is involved. We don’t publish one-size prices. After a walkthrough we give you a written proposal.
