Which fits your home?
Ring is a great fit for doorbells, smaller homes and quick setups. For larger properties or continuous recording kept in the house, a wired camera system may fit better. Plenty of homes use both.

Ring alarm and camera FAQ
Do you install Ring doorbells and cameras?
Yes. We install and set up Ring Alarm, video doorbells, indoor and outdoor cameras, and floodlight and spotlight cams, and make sure your Wi-Fi reaches each one.
Do I need a Ring subscription?
Not for the basics. Ring devices give you live view and alerts without a plan. Recorded video history and professional monitoring require one of Ring’s subscription plans, which you buy from Ring directly.
Can you hardwire my Ring doorbell?
Usually. Most Ring video doorbells can use existing doorbell wiring if the transformer is compatible. We check the transformer and chime and tell you if anything needs to be replaced.
Why does my Ring camera keep going offline?
Most of the time it’s Wi-Fi. Doors, stucco and distance weaken the signal, especially at the front door and garage. We test the signal at each device and add coverage where it’s needed.
How do I stop getting so many Ring alerts?
With motion zones, sensitivity settings and schedules. We set up zones that ignore the street, trees and pool, and adjust alerts so you hear about people, packages and doors, not every passing car.
Is Ring secure?
It can be, with the right settings. We turn on two-step verification, set up shared users instead of shared passwords and keep devices on a properly secured home network.
Can you work with Ring devices I already bought?
Yes. We can install devices you already own, fix an existing setup or add to it.
How much does Ring installation cost?
It depends on the number of devices, wiring and any Wi-Fi work needed. We don’t publish one-size prices. Tell us what you have or want and we’ll give you a written quote.
